我们的第一次摆摊卖毕业花,就献给了TARUC Setapak的毕业典礼!

就在1月4号的早上我们的团队突然看到了Facebook上的TARUC毕业典礼详情,然后我们其中一位的合作伙伴就很兴致勃勃的说 ”走!我们去摆摊玩玩!“。就这样很突然的,我们的团队立刻就准备起需要携带的毕业花束!虽然那个时候我们大家还在赶着已经忙不过来的线上订单,但很庆幸的就是我们的团队全员都是那么的人热情,说干就干的人!

就这样我们成功的在1月5号,开上我们的载满满花束的小车车,在早晨7点抵达TARUC的校门口。值得一提的事由于我们是第一次摆摊的关系,所以有很多事项都不太清楚,在还没有抵达的时候我们就连应该停在那里也是一脸茫然的。但是抵达门口了后,看到有好几档的毕业花束后,我们就把车Park在没人的位置了,然后就开始打开后车厢摆起我们的毕业花束了!同时8点的时候也很多摊位开始来架设他们的花束了,然后看向他们的摊位,我们才发现抛开花束原来我们准备的设备太少了哈哈哈!

在前面两天,我们只是把所有的花束放在后备箱展示,所以可想而知,路过的人和车很难发现到我们的花束,加上这次的毕业季在疫情期间,所以人流也特别的少,也导致我们前两天的销量特别的低。毫不夸张地说我们两天只卖了不到RM400的花束。

到了第三第四天也就是1月7号和8号,我们就带上了大大的帐篷,加上隔壁摊位借我们的摆花束的架子。让我们在这两天的生意特别的好,甚至在最后一天把所有我们带上的花束都给卖个清光!两天下来的营业额也差不多能达到RM1700左右!

总结来说,如果你正也想要到毕业季门口摆摊卖花,这里我们可以给你的建议是:

1)你需要提早,因为很多人会提早一个小时就到了

2)如果你想看到最好的成果,你必须准备帐篷和架子,让经过的人和车容易停下来,一眼看到他们喜欢的花束。

3)鲜花虽然比较多长辈会买,但是你要知道的是,成本高,而且不耐放,万一你卖不出去,你直接是亏本到家了!加上很多有经验的摊位是有提供现场包鲜花的,可以现场随意的去配,一对比下来你会很吃亏。所以建议你还是带干燥花束或者香皂花是最好的选择。毕竟如果卖不出去还可以带去下一场去卖!

4)生意是不会自己找上门的,有很多的摊位生意不好的最主要因数是他们不主动去接触顾客,我明白第一次肯定会比较难为情,但是相信我,只要你愿意对顾客热情一些,看到他们路过的时候好不害羞的问他们来看一看,你的成交量绝对会翻不止2倍!

5)最后如果你也想尝试卖香皂花,但是你对于包花还很生疏速度比较慢,又或者你没有香皂花的资源。我们这里可以提供你已经包好的香皂花束。你只需要用比较低的价格就可以和我们拿货到各个毕业典礼去卖啦!这样可以大幅节省你们的时间,也不需要每天在那里烦恼该准备怎么样的款式!

On the morning of January 4th, one of our partners saw the TARUC graduation ceremony details on Facebook, and she was very excited and said “Let’s give it a try selling at the roadside and have a play!”. Our team then prepared the graduation bouquets to bring along for so sudden! Although at that time we were still chasing online orders that were already busy, fortunately, all our team members were so enthusiastic and willing to do what we decided!

That’s all we successfully drove our car full of bouquets on January 5th and arrived near the TARUC main gate at 7:00 in the morning. It is worth mentioning that since we set up a roadside booth for the first time, there are many things that are not clear, and when we have not arrived, we are even at a loss when we should stop there. But when we arrived near the TARUC main gate, there were several roadside booths selling graduation bouquets as well. We parked the car in a place where no one was there, and then started to open the trunk to put out the graduation bouquets! At the same time, at morning 8:00, many stalls began to set up and arranged their bouquets. When we looked at their stalls, we realized that we had too little bouquet design, hahaha!

In the first two days, we just put all the bouquets in the trunk for display, so you can imagine that it is difficult for the passers-by and cars to give intention to our bouquets. As well as due to the pandemic, the flow of people is also very few, which led us to have very low sales in the first two days. It is no exaggeration to say that we only sold less than RM400 of the bouquets in two days.

On the third and fourth day, that is on January 7th and 8th, we brought a big tent, and borrowed the flower stand from the neighbor booth. It led us to have a good business for these two days, and we even sold out all the bouquets that were brought on the last day! The turnover in these two days almost reached about RM1700!

A conclusion that, if you are also looking to set up a roadside booth and sell flowers along the campus during the graduation season, here are some tips we can give you:

1) You need to be early because many people will arrive an hour early for preparation

2) If you want to have the best results, you might need to prepare a tent and flower stands so that people and cars passing by can easily stop in front and can see the bouquets at a glance.

3) Although there are many fresh flowers bought by the elders, but the cost of fresh flowers is higher and they are impatient. If you can’t sell them off, you will have a loss on it! In addition, you will suffer a lot in comparison as there are many experienced stalls that provide fresh flower arrangements on the spot for the customer to pick and match the bouquets. Therefore, it is recommended that you bring dry bouquets or soap flowers for the best choice. After all, if you are unable to sell off, you can take them to the next business!

4) The business will not come to the door on its own. The main reason for the bad business of many stalls is they do not take the initiative to approach the customers. We understand that it will be embarrassing for the first time, but believe me, as long as you are willing to be enthusiastic to the customers and don’t be shy to ask them to slow down to take a look, your transaction volume will definitely more than double!

5) Lastly, if you also want to try to sell soap flowers, but you are unfamiliar with flower arrangement, the wrapping speed is slow, or you do not have the resources, we can provide you with the soap bouquets that have already wrapped. You just need a relatively low price to get the goods with us and get sold to the graduation ceremonies! This can save you a lot of time, and you don’t need to worry about the designs!
